Not Nice!
Our wonderful, gracious, and ever so thoughtful lawmakers made me want to cry today.
Screwing with Daylight Savings means one thing to me at this point in my life. From "Spring Forward" until "Fall Back," there is a 15 hour time difference between here and China. (China has obliterated timezones within its borders.) During the winter months, the difference is 16 hours. (They also obliterated DST.) 16 hours means that when my sis's classes are over for the morning, it is 7 pm here. 15 hours makes it 8 pm. The extra hour for work is nothing. Give me the hour to chat. And they want to shorten it by two whole months! They won't get us off our foreign oil addiction, but they'll screw up the entire "small world" phenomenon and make it even more inconvenient to communicate with parties overseas.
