PO'd

Heard today that Fran is leaving. Moving to another state. That news on its own has very little effect on me. And yet...

I got to school today and it hit hard that Leo wasn't here. I wanted to hang out and chat with someone over the age of twelve, and that used to be him. It was a lonely morning. Then the news about Fran came at recess. I wanted to kick something, but I was on recess duty and all the kids would have seen it.

Damn. That makes me mad.
