Anyone Seen a Wild Goose?
Yesterday afternoon there was a ticket on my door from FedEx. It says they came at 9 am on Friday and no one was home. Well, DUH! The ticket said neither why the package was not delivered, nor who exactly it was for. It didn't even say where to retrieve the package. It DID have a phone number. I called the phone number and got a recorded system. None of the options in the system included "Find out where the package is." One more thing about the ticket. It said "Final delivery." This is the first time we've seen such a ticket.
I drove to the FedEx-Kinkos near my house, and they sent me to the airport. I drove to the airport and couldn't find FedEx. The lady at the car rental office sent me to the other side of the airport. I drove to the other side of the airport. After missing it once, I finally found FedEx.
Closed on Saturdays.
Just as well. For all I know they stuck the ticket on the wrong door. Did I mention there was nothing on the ticket to identify who the recipient was?
So, Gandalf, you try to lead them over Caradhras. And if that fails, where then will you go? If the mountain defeats you will you risk a more dangerous road?

The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail to the ruin of all.
Closed on Saturdays.
Go now and rest for you are weary with sorrow and much toil.

We cross the lake at nightfall. Hide the boats and continue on foot. We approach Mordor from the north.
:P
What an odd morning.
Oh, yes?! It's just a simple matter of finding our way through Emyn Muil? An impassable labyrinth of razor sharp rocks! And after that, it gets even better! Festering, stinking marshlands far as the eye can see!
What an odd morning.
