*Grossness Alert*

The doctors told him he could reintroduce soft solid foods.

A little white rice. A little chicken. And just like that it was back to the ER. Tube shoved through the nasal passages to pump the stomach. Nasal passage membranes damaged in the process causing bleeding into the stomach, which sounds like tons of fun. Back to liquids only, and at least two weeks mandatory bed rest for Mr. Overachiever.

His brother caught me up today. He did say that he's doing much better now that he's not got the tube in him. I emailed again today, but it's time for a card, methinks.

I thought appendectomies were fairly standard. Complications suck. Poor guy.
