Eywgene Goes Crunch
I pulled into the parking space a little too crooked. I looked over my left shoulder before backing out to try again.
Crunch.

She was driving through to park, and either she was in my blind spot or obscured by the car next to me. In any case, I did not see her. We both pulled into our parking spaces to survey the damage. Bumpers dented. Paint swapped. Nothing truly serious- just cosmetic. Oh, and she's in my Chinese class. So we grabbed our info and went to class to trade.
That was last night. Today, her boyfriend, also in Chinese and passenger at the time of the crunch, called. He came to my work and we wrote up a statement regarding the accident. He just left, each of us with a copy of the signed statement.
I am still jittery. After he called the first time, the elephant threatened, but I fought it off. I am breathing. But I can tell I'm not ok, because my knee is still on fire. My joints tend to tell me where my emotions are.
