The Final Week (So Far)

My to-do list was long a few days ago. I had almost 200 overdue books. I had over 100 books to repair and/or process. Then there was the check-out list. Today my list has four items on it, all of which will take 20 minutes. Total. Maybe.

I took a field trip on Monday. It was a class to class tour of the school. This effort netted me a hundred books returned or paid for. Yesterday I repaired and processed all day. I shut the library and worked straight through. So this morning, when Becki and I got here, everything was already put away.

It's 11:30 on Wednesday. Today, I have cleaned out the file cabinet, straightened, cleaned and organized the reference shelves, filled two trash cans, found a few missing books, and added one last book. RealLivePreacher.com. Mwahahaha!

Left to do? Wipe down desk and tables, dust, print out list of new acquisitions, and take my stuff home. Yeah. This is going to be a slow couple of days. *grin*

This is Marian the Librarian, signing off.
