So Fast

Ok, so this is out of control. I now have a very clear understanding of how my friend Mark felt when he was interviewing every few seconds a while back. Since my last post, I've landed an interview at another school- for a junior high English teacher job.

The thing here, though, is the China job. I am trying hard not to get too psyched about it. I am trying not to obsess and convince myself that this could actually happen. Yes, I am actually qualified for it. Yes, it's a place I would be able to work. In fact, it seems ideal. It seems like it could be the doorway into a whole world of possibilities for me. It seems like it might be exactly what I want. Which, I must say, scares the hell out of me. I can't quite explain why. It probably sounds crazy. But darn it all, I am seriously freaked out!

I've never seen so much happen in such a short time. ust a couple weeks ago I had nothing, and now I have had one interview with three more scheduled. I am waiting to hear back on a fifth job which I could reasonably be hired for and which looks like a dream. All this in only 16 resumes.

Whoa, there. I gotta catch my breath!!!
