Day of Random
It's still Monday, right? I lost track. It feels like a week has passed. It has to be Friday, now, right? Good heavens. I have been here by myself all day, except for about ten minutes an hour ago. Well, not completely. Historical Society stopped in. Festival of Arts is upstairs now. A few people came by to get tickets for the next event. Two board members were in briefly. But the other two have been out. Temp is only here two days a week. This isn't one of the two.
My ipod has gone on strike. Generally I plug it in to my speakers, and I have a wide variety of unrepeated commercial-free music. Not so much now. I need to fix it. Last week, when it quit, I had a bunch of mp3 cd's here. Today I have nothing. Ack. I have been playing my JRB playlist on YouTube. I think I am nearly sick of it. This has to be about the fourth or fifth time through. Must. Fix. Ipod.
Random thing happened today at lunch. I closed the place up and went to Quizno's. It's a soup day. So I got my soup and was saying goodbye to the owners, when I noticed the guy in line behind me. No, not like that. I used to work with him! He once put a screensaver in Greek on my computer, claiming it was a hex. My computer crashed five times that day. (No big surprise, as we were running Windows 98.) Anyway, I said hi, and he remembered me. Haven't seen the man in seven years. It was a nice break in the middle of what has become a very
long
day.
90 minutes more.
