Update
I called the Dept of Child Support Services this morning. The Customer Service Representative asked for just about everything- SSN, name, address... At that point I said, I'd rather not. See, I got this letter at my job saying that I owe support for some kids. Thing is, I don't have any.
You don't have children?
Nope. And the birthday you have for me on these papers is wrong.
Ok, well, this is fairly common, actually.
She told me to fax her my driver's license and Social Security card, and she would mail me some forms to sign and send back. Once that's done, I can expect some documentation saying that this is all cleared up.
While I was faxing the requested materials, Sheriff Jamie walked in with the completed police report. All these papers are becoming quite the file!
