An Auspicious Week

Wow, I feel Chinese. That's a very Chinese word. Well, the meaning it carries is very Chinese, at least. It's also exactly the sort of word Lemony Snicket would use, given the opportunity.

ANYWAY...

Yesterday was

• The birthday of one of my students
• Three months *grin*
  
• The Feast of Saint [insert my name] by the Old Calendar

Now, I'm not quite clear on what that last one entails, but for now, it's at least interesting.

Today is

• The birthday of one of my students
• The birthday of two of my Coffee Place colleague friends

Tomorrow is

• An anniversary that I very much hope is actually a happy one for those who may be observing it
• 29 years. For the sake of almost everyone who reads this, I will refrain from using the "o" word, but these numbers are starting to sound kinda high.
