The Countdown Continues
I was thinking for your Christmas present, we'd buy a plane ticket...
About a month ago, I was talking with my friends E and Nathan as I do most every Thursday. I commented briefly on my frustration with the three thousand miles. They responded with this announcement, and a directive to discuss dates for The Boy to make his appearance.
All I could say in response was You're kidding. They weren't. I was speechless. I nearly cried. Later, when I told him, he nearly cried. He kept saying God bless them.
Tuesday of this week marked my first anniversary with the Chamber. The changes of this last year have been at least as dramatic as those of 2006, though not nearly so traumatic. So many things have happened, and a handful of people have walked through all of it with me.
I have amazing friends, and I am so grateful for (and to) all of them. Today, though, in honor of the countdown to the arrival first of Christmas, then of The Boy, I wish to post a big, public
to my two remarkably generous small group friends, E and Nathan.

So when does the boy get there?
How many more days?
A lot of theological words are bandied about and wrestled over.
But what you've described is the absolute best definition of Christian community. All around.
See, Spider... I told you to keep praying. :-)
If you could throw a few words up for me now, I'd appreciate it. :-D
wheeeeeeeeeee!!
