Synæsthesia Comics!!!

Here we have a really cool neurological condition featured in my favorite comic strip. The final panel gives an example of the linguistic term synæsthesia (I heart the Brit spelling) , which is an extension of the neurological use. Yay for neurolinguistics!

When I was in college, I knew four synæsthetes at once. Three were in the house church I was a part of, so I got to watch them discuss their colored letters. Synæsthesia, as a result, became something of a hobby for me. It was because of these four synæsthetes, and the rate of incidence, that another friend determined that I know 10% of the world's population. (This percentage has grown to 25% since, which is fitting since I keep meeting others with this fascinating condition.)
